The official help makes several distinctions that affect a real workflow: communication settings versus appearance, conversation history versus character definition, and subscription access versus a separate balance. Keep those distinctions intact when deciding whether the service fits.
Guided persona and communication settings
The creation guide describes realistic or anime styling, personality, occupation, preferences, boundaries and relationship choices. It also documents voice and short, medium or long message length. Many attributes can be modified later. Character count depends on the subscription, so do not assume that a builder demonstration establishes unlimited saved personas.
Reply length is a particularly useful setting because its effect is easy to observe. A short format can suit everyday exchanges; a longer format can support descriptive writing. Neither guarantees continuity. Select a tone and a manageable length before adding a complicated biography. Our personalization workflow helps turn broad style preferences into instructions that you can evaluate in a few replies.
Editing, clearing and deleting a character
The Profile Management help documents Edit Profile, Clear Chat and Delete Character. Clearing a chat removes history while retaining the character according to that guide. Deleting a character is a different action. These controls matter when you want to revise the persona without carrying the previous conversation’s assumptions into the next session.
Keep your own copy of the definition before experimenting with an irreversible action. If a conversation has drifted away from the intended setting, a clean chat may be more useful than adding another paragraph of instructions. We did not verify full account erasure or legal retention details, so a clear-history control should not be described as complete deletion of all provider-held data. Read the current policy for that separate question.
Continuity and moderation limits
LoveScape’s limitations help acknowledges forgotten topics and inconsistency in long chats. It also says chat history is stored for continuity and characters start private. Those descriptions provide useful context, but they are not a full legal account of retention, training or staff access. Private-by-default character visibility is a sharing control, not proof of confidential storage.
Moderation help describes automated checks, human review, reporting and appeals through support. We did not establish a precise reporting button path. Keep conversations within the provider’s current rules and do not assume that the absence of a filter in a short exchange changes those rules. The roleplay setup guide uses non-graphic examples and clear adult boundaries rather than instructions for bypassing safeguards.
